With 2022 fast approaching, Chinese New Year is a holiday that will see the entire Nike umbrella take center stage. Jordan Brand, as officially revealed just one day ago, has immediately set the tone by applying a "Year of the Tiger" theme to the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. However, one of three total, this pair is undoubtedly the star of the show, boasting a more interesting, visually heavy nod to the Chinese zodiac animal. Based on the "Sail" design, the toe and mid-panel feature tiger stripes, each stroke painted black, just like the Swooshes, laces, and lining. The tiger motif on the heel is also dark, contrasting with orange, which is only seen on the edges and Nike logo. The overlays are finished in light tan, the bottoms are see-through gum, and the insoles feature fitting all-over artwork. For more details, check out the official images below. It's rumored to be released exclusively in Asia on December 30th. Also, since it's limited to 5,000 pairs, it's unlikely to be released in the US.
